There are also many popular sandy beaches and sheltered coves which are perfect for surfing and sunbathing. For a cultural day out visit King Arthur s Castle the National Trust properties Llanhydrock House and The Old Post Office or The Lost Gardens of Heligan are well worth a visit. In the evenings you can relax in the garden or visit one of the many local pubs or restaurants. The accommodation is arranged on one floor and offers THREE bedrooms: 1 king-size with TV 1 double and 1 twin (one bed being a pull-out style). The famous little village of Tintagel on the north coast of Cornwall (also known as Trevena) is a 'must see' if you're visiting this area. Located not far from Delabole, St Teath, Boscastle, and Camelford Tintagel is one of more than two hundred and fifty towns and villages in Cornwall in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The closest city is the small Cornish capital of Truro with a population of just over 20,000.
The village has long been connected with the legend of King Arthur and the famous Tintagel Castle, set overlooking the rugged cliffs which overlook the Atlantic coastline is a dramatic and atmospheric background to the various tales regarding this ancient king. The village itself is popular with tourists containing a number of interesting sites including the old school and post office buildings, as well as a number of gift shops and tea rooms.
